OKTET Labs will start working with you when you indicate your interest and provide enough information about your hardware and application. OKTET Labs engineer assigned for project evaluation may contact you to obtain additional information. To start evaluation, we normally need:

• Description and schematic diagram of your device

• FPGA source code, when applicable

• Data Sheets and Hardware Manuals for all components to be supported

• Short description of the application

OKTET Labs creates the Project Definition document, which contains the following information:

• Description of the project

• Description of target hardware

• Devices, components, units to be supported

• Requirements specification

  • Work breakdown

  • Time estimation for tasks

  • Preliminary engineers assignment

  • Project quality plan

  • Risk evaluation

You will review the Project Definition, provide your comments and suggestions, and finally approve it.

Work may be started immediately after approval of the project definition, but of course the hardware availability is critical for the work completion.
